This week Kelly and Lindsey catch up and talk The 4th of July, The Declaration of Independence and Thomas Jefferson. Did you know that he was a total asshole? Yup. We said it. Google it. Trash. It's hard to celebrate our independence when so many people in this country don't feel free to express themselves or even to just live, really. It's also hard to celebrate this nation when we built ourselves on a foundation of racism, sexism and slavery, so there's that too. Listen up, take this time to reflect and just remember that the election is only 119 days away. GET OUT AND VOTE PEOPLE. Oh, and watch Hamilton. It's beyond amazing. In the words of Alexander Hamilton, "If you stand for nothing Burr, what'll you fall for?"
